Tea time
Do we really need an excuse to have a lovely tea time treat? Well, certainly not when it is hosted for our mum! This beautiful morning tea was at the divine Heatherton House in NSW’s Blue mountains... A relaxed affair with family, we threw together a few of our favourite products to make something that looked as good as all the treats tasted! Using a variety of the antique tables to showcase our stands, we opted for country classic treats including apple pies, scones and iced vo vo’s. YUM! Finished with our gorgeous pink scalloped napkins and a bunch of freshly picked hydrangeas, it made for a rather luxurious morning for all. -
A barnyard party
Who doesn’t love baby animals, mini apple pies, fresh lemonade and the smell of hay? The farm party we recently hosted for baby Willow’s first birthday was a rustic affair complete with a baby animal farm and a lot of excited toddlers! Featuring our mini picnic baskets, apple inspired products, divine cake stands and fabulous tissue fans it was a day that even the Hoggets from Babe would have enjoyed! The Farm theme is perfect for small children. It is rustic and engaging, but let’s be honest, some of the adults had just as much fun! -
Ice cream soiree
Strawberry, vanilla, cookies and cream, rainbow... Who doesn’t have a love affair with ice cream! This Ice Cream party was hosted for a lovely little lady named Lola and was a first birthday extravaganza! Inspired by Mr Whippy, cherries and a hint of pink it proved a crowd pleaser amongst children and adults alike. Highlights included the ice cream bar with a selection of treats for a DIY sundae experience, our unique muslin ice cream favour bags filled with lovely treats and the dessert bar hosting a range of our stands and completed with sundae inspired cupcakes! (See our blog for the recipe)! -
Vintage Hawaiian
Aloha... Yes, it is kitsch and some say dated but let's be honest, a vintage Hawaiian party done right is timeless and a guarantee for a good time for all! We were fortunate to be able to style this party at a unique property in Manly, in Sydney’s Northern beaches. With a tiki bar by the pool and a canapé table on the veranda, we were able to take advantage of some pretty amazing spaces. The tiki bar featured vintage Hawaiian prints on hessian fabric as well as featuring some of our tissue fans and retro honeycomb fruit straws! Meanwhile, on the canapé table, our selection of picks and toppers took centre stage, with our honeycomb fans taking pride of place on the hummingbird cupcakes and the flamingo picks, cleverly keeping all the mini hamburger goodness in one tidy package! The day was completed by a soundtrack of vintage Hawaiian tunes and a rare showing from Mr Sun in Sydney town this Summer!
